A Fifth Fundamental Force?

A certain amount of continuing excitement in the theoretical physics community following the recent report from the Tevatron at Fermilab that a new fundamental particle might have been discovered. This would not be the Higgs (the decay route is all wrong) but might be a new force boson, the Z'.

Anyway, I wrote a short article about it which has now appeared at sciencefiction.com.
